【Vintage Boujaad Rug】

These vintage rugs are woven from wool and acrylic by Berber women in the region known as Boujaad, inheriting traditional techniques passed down through generations.

Boujaad rugs are also known as "Jewel Rugs" and are characterized by their dominant colors of red, purple, and pink. Some have distinct patterns, while many feature abstract designs.

The unique and creative color schemes and patterns are only possible because they are handcrafted. No two rugs are exactly alike in pattern or color.

One way to enjoy these rugs is by changing their placement seasonally, perhaps under a table, by a sofa, bed, or cabinet, or in the kitchen.

In Morocco, they are also hung on walls and admired as art.
