【Vintage Boucharouite Rug】

Boucharouite rugs are
sustainable rugs meticulously
woven one by one using recycled fabric,
inheriting traditional techniques
from the Berber women who have lived
in Morocco's Atlas Mountains for centuries.

One of their characteristics is their colorful designs.
Some have patterns woven into them,
while many others have various shades of fabric
interwoven.

Even with the same type of rug, the impression
can be completely different depending on the design.

Because they are handcrafted,
each one expresses unique
color schemes, patterns, and varying fabric lengths.
No two rugs have the same pattern or color.

Since they are woven from cotton,
they can be washed at home.
Changing their location seasonally, such as
under a table, next to a sofa, bed, or cabinet, or in the kitchen,
is one way to enjoy them.

In Morocco, they are also hung on walls
as decorative art.
