[Vintage Ajiral Rug]
Ajiral rugs are rugs that are carefully woven one by one using high-quality wool, using traditional methods inherited from ancient times by Berber women who have lived in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco since ancient times. One of its characteristics is that it is made from dyed wool and has many colorful designs. Even the same rug can have completely different impressions depending on its design. There are only two rugs in the world with unique color schemes and patterns that can be expressed precisely because they are made by hand.
Since it is made of wool, it is gentle and comfortable to the touch, but the bristles are relatively short and the weave is not tight, making it attractive for use regardless of the season. One way to enjoy it is to change the location depending on the season, such as under the table, on the side of the sofa, bed, cabinet, or in the kitchen. In Morocco, they are sometimes displayed on walls and used as ornamental art.
