Azilal rugs are meticulously handwoven, one by one, using high-quality wool by Berber women who have long inhabited the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, passing down traditional techniques through generations. One characteristic is that the wool is dyed, resulting in many colorful designs. Even among rugs of the same type, the impression can vary greatly depending on the design. The unique color schemes and patterns of each rug, made by hand, are truly one-of-a-kind. Since wool is used, the texture is soft and pleasant, but the pile is relatively short and the weave is not tightly packed, making them appealing for year-round use. Changing their placement with the seasons, such as under a table, beside a sofa, bed, or cabinet, or in the kitchen, is one way to enjoy them. In Morocco, they are also hung on walls and appreciated as art.

〈Precautions〉 ・There may be slight variations in size (due to the irregular rectangular shape, the length may vary depending on the area). ・The color impression may differ slightly between the published photos and the actual product. ・Due to the nature of production, other colors or plant fibers may be mixed in with the wool. During inspection, we remove anything that can be removed, but since it is done by hand, some may remain, so please understand. Also, tweezers can be used to remove them without damaging the rug. ・As this product is handmade, returns and exchanges are not possible.
